- 1914 Oscar Westman, Fred Lundgren, Pete & Anton Tornquist filed for land just east of town and set up the first homestead.
- 1920 Community developed near "Fox River," now "White Fox River." Westman cited tales of white foxes living at the river bank.
- 1929 The Railway came to the area and the Village of White Fox was born. Some of the first businesses were the hardware store,
grocery store, livery barn and barbershop. Jim McGuire, Jack McBain, Vaugh Hayes and William Harvey were the first business owners.
- 1930 The first citizen, Bernice Rooen, was born. More buildings were added to the town including an elevator, drugstore,
hotel, cafe, post office, churches, school, hospital, rink, tennis court and a theatre. Also the "Board of Trade" was developed to manage community events.
- 1935 Alfalfa Seed Growers Marketing Association Ltd. was established, which was a drastic financial boost to the community.
- 1941 Town Council established: Walter Atkinson, Vaugh Hayes and Robert Bradshaw, which provided the Village with energy, gravel, sidewalks and street lights.
Royal Canadian Legion auxiliary was formed (Bernard Holland, Robert Wilson, J.J. Cook, S. Levitsky, J.C. Irvine and L. Wall.
- 1947 Fire destroyed property as well as a portion of the business section, thus a fire truck and siren were purchased.
- 1950 Population increased to 408. Set up library in the basement of Town Hall. Alfalfa Dehydration Plant opened, creating more employment in the community.
- 1960 Natural gas, sewer and water were installed for the village. New elementary school was built.
- 1970 Museum opened.
- 1980 Nipawin Hydro-Electric project on river was started. There was an addition to the elementary school. Fire of '84 destroyed the Alfalfa Seed plant.
- 1990 All but one elevator were demolished, the last was preserved for historical reasons. New Town Hall and fire halls were built after the old were destroyed.
Village sign and plaque were unveiled and dedicated. Village Office and library were computerized. Orange Hall was demolished.
